I HAVE been supporting Great Harwood Town FC since I moved to the area five years ago as I think local teams should be supported.
Under Denis Underwood, the team has gone from bad to diabolical.
Each season under his management has seen Great Harwood battling against relegation and usually in the bottom three or four places.
I regularly read Mr Underwood's comments about the games in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph and cannot believe that he has been watching the same game as myself.
The team are regularly being thrashed by the opposition, sitting back and defending even when they are behind, without a word from the sidelines from Mr Underwood.
Unfortunately, Mr Underwood will consider that he has had a successful season if he manages to avoid relegation, which is looking more and more unlikely with every game.
Mr Underwood is becoming very much like Graeme Souness -- when the team lose it is always the referee, the opposition playing for penalties or just bad luck.
A good team makes its own luck, Mr Underwood, and you have let too many good players leave.
