DAVID Moyes has joined Everton as their new manager, but who replaces the popular boss at Deepdale has yet to be announced.
According to the Everton official web site personal terms have been agreed with both Moyes and a compensation package struck with North End.
Moyes was in the first year of a five year contract, but details of the compensation deal have not been released.
The North End squad were today given the day off ahead as the uncertainty continues. Midfielder Lee Cartwright said the players were in the dark.
The unexpected day off means North End have just two days to prepare for their derby clash against Burnley.
