A DRUNKEN teenager who went on a Christmas Day wrecking spree faces a custodial sentence.
Burnley Magistrates heard how rowdy Neil Hunter, 19, kicked shop windows and threw a signpost through a car window in Haslingden. The car, worth £850, could not be repaired.
Jobless Hunter, of Princess Street, Haslingden, admitted damaging two windows and the Ford Escort and was bailed until April 10, for a pre-sentence report.
The bench told the defendant all options would be open and that would include custody.
Elizabeth Reed, prosecuting, said two large shop windows were smashed, police were called and Hunter was arrested. He had a number of bottles of alcohol on him and was taken to the police station and interviewed.
Sarah Goodchild, defending, said Hunter had been part of a group which was very drunk and rowdy. People began to kick windows, so the defendant joined in and smashed two.
