MODEL Mary Habiba Davidson has taken the TV screens by storm after securing herself a presenting contract.
After a trial of just four shows working on as a fashion presenter on Manchester based cable channel, channel M, TV bosses have asked Mary, 19, to present regularly on the show.
She has already made her way as a model with design houses Joe Bloggs, Johnny Q and SOS and has also landed herself a part on an E4 dating programme which is to be launched in April.
She has also appeared in this month's edition of magazines such as Marie Claire, Company and Glamour in an advertisement for jeans giant SOS.
Mary, who lives with her mum, Pamela Ware, in Bala Close, Blackburn, is a former pupil of the town's Beardwood School.
Her exotic looks have helped her in her career as she is half-Egyptian and half-Scottish, with a touch of Somalian.
She said: "People have said in the past that I look like Iman or Naomi Campbell, but that is a load of rubbish, I am just me.
"Perhaps my famous looks got me the presenting job which I am really enjoying. I can't believe the success I am having at the moment, I just hope it lasts."
