THE six-strong cast of Burnley Garrick Club's production of Don't Dress for Dinner includes a husband and wife team.
Lesley and Brian Haworth play Bernard and Jacqueline, while Cynthia Sanderson plays Bernard's mistress and the part of his best friend Robert is played by Adrian Hartley. Angela Boult is the cook, Suzette, and the role of her husband is taken by David Kendrick.
The comedy farce, written by Mark Camoletti, is an amusing mix of double adultery and gourmet cooking which moves along at a fast pace -- guaranteeing an evening of hilarious confusion.
The Garrick Club's production, directed by Barbara Simpson, is being staged tonight and tomorrow at Burnley Mechanics. Tickets are £5 (under 16s and students half price on production of NUS card) and can be booked by telephoning the Mechanics' box office on 01282 664400.
