SCARVES were in plentiful supply among the Gigg Lane faithful who braved wintery weekend weather for what could have been the Shakers last ever home game.
A giant "Fans United" scarf snaked its way through Gigg Lane's Cemetery End during Bury FC's match against Notts County on Saturday (March 9).
Comprising the colours of all 92 league teams, the symbol of solidarity was provided to the club's fund raising committee by the National Federation of Football Supporters Clubs.
Fans with their scarves of many colours are pictured giving their backing to Bury.
The event provided nationwide support for the Shakers' struggle to survive their current crash crisis.
