THRIVING Bury-based accountants and business advisers DTE have announced two new key appointments.
Ken Moody has taken up the post of tax compliance manager, while Daniel Booth has been appointed business development manager in the audit department.
Bury man Ken will be responsible for reviewing corporation tax computations for limited companies, as well as improving compliance procedures and monitoring progress of tax returns for clients.
He brings a wealth of experience to DTE and in the past has written the tax compliance manual for a top 30 advisory firm.
Ken (51), has also worked as a tax specialist for several professional services companies from Scotland to London, and regularly contributes to the technical and professional press.
He qualified as an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1977 and hails from Sheffield.
Twenty-three-year-old Daniel, who lives in Ramsbottom, joined DTE in 1995 as a junior audit clerk.
His new role involves acquiring new clients, managing a portfolio of existing clients and developing business relationships with solicitors and other professional services firms.
