CONCERN is growing for a Blackpool hospital patient who has been missing since Monday.
Paul Watkinson, of Horsebridge Road, Blackpool left the Bowland Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, where he is an in-patient, on Monday, March 11.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Mr Watkinson because he is supposed to be taking medication for a condition and we are not sure that he has got that medication with him, so his condition will be worsening.
"When last seen he was wearing black trousers, black trainers and a bubble jacket and he often wears multiple layers of clothing so he may we stand out in a crowd."
She described Mr Watkinson as white, 5ft 8ins tall, proportionate to heavy build with a ruddy complexion and brown eyes and said he sometimes has spiky hair, often with green tints.
Anyone with information about Mr Watkinson's whereabouts can contact Blackpool Police on 293933.
