THERE will be no special plans for Second Division hotshot Bobby Zamora when he puts the Shakers in his sights tomorrow.

The Brighton Bullet has been in red hot form with 28 goals to his name already and the Seagulls haven't lost a match that he has scored in this season.

With that in mind it would be a brave man to bet against the former Bristol Rovers striker adding to that tally after last weekends events at Gigg Lane.

The Shakers put in a dire defensive display going down 4-0 to struggling Notts County and will have to improve tenfold if they are to take anything from the Withdean Stadium.

But no-one is more aware of that than Bury boss Andy Preece who will be hoping his charges put that aberration behind them and get back to the kind of solid defending they had been displaying prior to the County game.

"It's a tough match for us. You only have to look at their home record so see how difficult it will be," he said.

"We are going to have to be at our best to get anything out of it, but there is no reason why we can't!

"Zamora is on fire and our defenders will have to concentrate totally on him because if they switch off they will be punished.

"But there's no way we will be doing a man marking job on him. Brighton have quality players throughout their team and they will all want watching.

"The big thing for them this season is that they have had a settled side and that shows in the consistency of their results."

A settled team is something that Preece could only dream about this season although there are signs that he will have more players to choose from in the coming weeks.

Indian international star Baichung Bhutia got through 60 minutes in the reserves 5-0 mauling at Scunthorpe United on Wednesday after getting back to full training this week.

Matt Barrass and Chris Billy are also back on the training ground although of the two Barrass is expected to take a while longer to be fully fit.

On the down side Steve Redmond and Nicky Hill will both be unavailable for selection while David Borley has suffered a recurrence of his groin problem and is out of the frame.

The boss rates full back Lee Unsworth as 50-50 after recovering from his hip problem and he will given as much time as possible to regain 100 per cent fitness.

One or two of the players are treading a suspension tightrope with Sam Collins, Lee Unsworth and Jason Jarrett all one booking away from a ban.
