THE BOSS of a Blackburn charity has slammed vandals who wrecked the group's minibus, causing damage estimated at hundreds of pounds.
Mike Mulcahy, chief executive of the Blind Society, said he was disgusted by the behaviour of the vandals who tried to steal the bus over the weekend.
The minibus, which is used to transport members of the society to and from events, was paid for by donations and was left seriously damaged after the vandal attack.
Police have confirmed they are investigating the incident which is believed to have happened over the weekend when the bus was parked at the society's base in Railway Road.
