A BUS service where passengers help decide the route is set to return to rural Ribble Valley.
The Ribble Valley Rider is returning to serve Gisburn, Chatburn, Sawley and nearby villages from April 2.
People in the area can take advantage of the bus service thanks to a partnership between Lancashire County Council's rural bus initiative and Ribble Valley Community Transport.
There are three ways of getting on the service.
It runs on a timetabled route around Gisburn, Chatburn and Sawley, but it is flexible enough to allow people who live on the route or in a village nearby to call ahead to be picked up at their door.
Alternatively, it can be hailed on the street.
The service has been improved to run six days a week, including a Saturday run from Clitheroe to Chipping via Chaigley.
Up to two bikes can be stored on the bike rack.
A County Hall spokesman said: "The low floors are designed to make getting on off easier for people with wheelchairs, prams and those with mobility problems.
"The friendly staff will be more than happy to offer assistance to any passenger.
"It is ideal for people who find conventional transport difficult."
Passengers can book the bus by calling 01200 444484.
Information on rail connections is available at Clitheroe Interchange on 01200 429832.
