AN Atherton man is keen to show young people how easy it is to prepare good food on a budget.
Peter Street, a cook, youth worker and poet, is running a series of healthy eating sessions.
The project has been funded by money linked to the Commonwealth Games via a project called P2K which in Wigan has supported projects ranging from training young people to be rock climbing instructors to arts and sports projects.
Peter will be working with a group of young people from Leigh in a session on African Cooking on March 21 at Platt Bridge Youth Zone, Ribble Road, Platt Bridge, Wigan, 1pm to 3pm, and making and decorating Easter eggs on March 28.
