A RIBBLE Valley development trust has been recognised for its positive attitude towards employing and retaining disabled workers.
Trinity Community Partnership, in Wesleyan Row, Clitheroe, was presented with the Positive about Disabled People symbol at a special ceremony at the town's Jobcentre.
The organisation, which employs 55 staff and 105 volunteers will now be signed up to five disability symbol commitments, to be reviewed every year by the Employment Service.
Chief executive of the Partnership, Geoff Jackson, said:
"It represents a key milestone in our pursuit of total social inclusion
Clitheroe Jobcentre's disability employment advisor Julia Dawes said: "Trinity Community Partnership undertakes a lot of very worthwhile work on behalf of local people, so it's fitting for it to be recognised
