BLONDE hair, striped T-shirt and convincing bass beats should make the latest tribute band appearing in Blackburn easy to spot.
Teen Spirit - one of Nirvana's most eagerly followed tribute bands - will be appearing at the North Bar, Northgate, on March 24.
Australian-born lead singer Stuart Collier, 28, formed the band in Southampton with friends Glenn Clarke and bassist Nigel O'Gorman following the death of Kurt Cobain and they turned professional 7 years ago.
Ronnie Brown, band organiser at the North Bar, said: "You would not always expect a tribute band to have their own lime light but these guys are something else.
"We have had an overwhelming demand for tickets and to be honest, I can't see it being very long before they get signed by any one of the companies that have been chasing."
The gig at North Bar, which is part of a UK-wide tour, will be open to over 16's.
North Bar will also be hosting 60's garage and RnB band The Itch on March 22 and The Miles Hunt Club on April 7 while The Fall are booked to appear on April 19.
