ONE man's quest for a sea angling club in the town becomes reality this weekend.
Alex Ashby, 60, of Bolton Road, Darwen, appealed in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph last month for people willing to join him for weekend fishing trips and meetings.
He heard from 40 people who will now meet at the Catholic Club in Wellington Fold this Friday to elect a committee.
