WE have been warned to brace ourselves for further increased taxes to fund the NHS.

What percentage of the new money will be creamed off by the layers of managers, administrators and bureaucrats for their first-class travel, plush office upgrades and generous pension schemes, before allowing what's left to trickle down to the wards?

Many of us are furious enough already at seeing the tax we have paid being thrown at illegal immigrants, government cronies and foreign dictators, with little effort made to prevent fraud, while our own sick and elderly suffer.
