THE way the roads are falling into disrepair, we will be lucky if there are any left to grit next winter.
The ones around Darwen and Lower Darwen are terrible. You have to grit your teeth when driving and hope you miss the holes.
The speed humps are also making the roads worse, due to cars bumping over them.
A bad one in Milking Lane was patched up, but is beginning to need attention again. Does anyone inspect the roads to check for corrective maintenance?
Come on, let's have some action and not have to feel like we are back in the 18th century when travelling on the roads.
