TWO men are improving in hospital following a crash which claimed the lives of three people including a 15-year-old Bury schoolboy.
A Toyota Carina taxi and a Ford Sierra collided in Bury Old Road, Prestwich, in the early hours of Sunday.
Passenger in the taxi Stella Shaw from Brookfield, Prestwich and the driver Khalid Ejaz from Oldham both died in the accident, together with teenager Arron Croft from Whitefield who was travelling in the second vehicle.
Mrs Shaw's husband Michael, aged 54, is in Salford's Hop Hospital and the 18-year-old driver of the Sierra is being treated in North Manchester General Hospital.
They are both said to be in stable and comfortable.
