SCIENCE students in the lower school at Haslingden High School learned all about the subject in a week of experiments and activities.
The event was organised to coincide with national science week. Assistant headteacher Stephanie Holden said: "We arranged lots of activities including a rocket launch, making egg timers, building flying machines and a caption competition. We also had former students on line to answer e-mailed science questions and lots of activities on the school web site."
The science week follows on from the school taking part in the big bounce science project last year when pupils all over the country took part in a recreating the seismic force of an earthquake by simultaneously jumping up and down.
