OUR action group is very wary about this turnabout regarding the closure of county council care homes for the elderly (LET, March 12).
We will not be happy until we have it in writing that the residents of Worsley House will not be moved and also that the home will remain open indefinitely.
Fleetwood is a small community and Worsley House is part of this community. To move the residents from Fleetwood would be very traumatic and tragic.
It is OK for county council leader Hazel Harding to say the residents will remain in LCC homes. My question is: will they remain in their home and not be moved to one miles away?
