IWOULD like to thank the person who drove into my car the other day while it was parked but did not have the guts or integrity to leave their details.
I am a disabled driver and need my car to get around, so this is a double blow for me.
Apart from being very upset about the damage and the bill for it, I have to pay the excess on my insurance, which I can ill-afford. This means that I will have to reduce my housekeeping by some means or other -- either by not having the heating on, or by cutting down on food.
It has left me determined that if ever I am involved in such an incident, I will not be a coward but will face up to my responsibilities and admit my liability, as, hopefully, other members of society would do.
It says a lot about our society that some people do this sort of thing and think that there is nothing wrong with it.
