THE Complete Works of God is the latest project to be tackled by the highly-acclaimed Reduced Shakespeare Company as they present The Bible (abridged) at Blackpool Grand Theatre on Tuesday, March 26.
The Reduced Shakespeare Company has previously abbreviated American history and comically condensed Shakespeare and have now turned their attention to abridging the Bible into just 100 minutes.
The masters of wit and madness gallop from Eve to Exodus through the epistles, the apostles and the gospels via fig leaves and final judgement. And they explore deep theological problems such as: did Adam and Eve have navels? And did Moses really look like Charlton Heston?
Tickets for the performance, which starts at 7.30pm, are priced from £12.50 and are available from the box office on (01253) 290190.
