HAS anyone else left this week? Or more importantly has anyone new come in yet?

It could be argued that since the AGM in October we have lost three of the most important people at the club.

Its almost six months since the best chairman that Preston North End has ever had resigned, and still we haven't found anyone to replace him!

Next Jon Macken, the best striker in PNE's recent history (if in doubt check out the videos of the two seasons prior to this one and re-live some of the marvellous goals he scored).

And thirdly David Moyes -- what can we say about him that hasn't already been said.

We at PSG were sorry to see them go, but they made their decision and that's it.

What worries us is, the people in charge at the club seem happy to drift along and so very little to fill the void left by the departure of Brian Gray.

We feel that this is detrimental to the immediate future of the football club and should be sorted out as soon as possible.

The "We'll make do with what we've got" comment from the previous manager following the sale of Macken was disheartening at the time, but understandable now. He must have had an inkling of what was to come.

Half yearly profits of £600,000, a good cup run, £500,000 from the Chelsea game, the Macken money and a £1m pay out for Moyes means Preston have never had it so good financially, and now we must be saving a hefty sum on wages too.

Meanwhile other clubs are strengthening squads in the push for play-off places.

Decisive action is needed at Deepdale. we need a chairman, we needed to replace Jon Macken and now we need a manager.
