A YOUTH Theatre project in Rossendale over the Easter holidays could culminate in a public performance on Saturday, April 6.
The project, run from the Horse and Bamboo Centre in Waterfoot, is aimed at eight to 14-year-olds who have an interest in performance and visual arts.
It starts on Tuesday, April 2, and runs until the following Saturday daily from 9am until 4.30pm.
The company's arts and programming manager, Andrew Rawlinson, said: "The focus of the youth theatre will be placed on the professional touring work of Horse and Bamboo, which is mask work, puppetry, shadow theatre and music.
"Experienced youth leader Jenny Brent will be leading the course, assisted by Alison Sharkey, who is making a special trip from the Outer Hebrides to work with the youth theatre members."
Cost of the five-day project is £25.
