A RAIDER who struck at a barber's and a bookies' on the same night, is awaiting sentence.
Drug addict and father to be Christopher John Woodrup, 32 was remanded in custody until April 5 for a pre-sentence report by Burnley Magistrates, who told him all options would be open.
The defendant, of Dall Street, Burnley, admitted two charges of burglary on March 11.
The court was told that Mick's Barber on Parliament Street was attacked and about half an hour later another raid took place at B and B Racing.
The defendant, father of one, whose partner was expecting another baby, had had a long standing drug addiction which needed addressing.
His girlfriend had given him an ultimatum and he stood to lose the relationship with her and contact with his children if he was sent to jail.
