MORE than 80 competitors took part in Lancaster City Council's 14th annual indoor bowling tournament last Monday.
The Boys Club were overall winners of the team event at the Morecambe Superdome, with Yealand in second place.
A pair from Bolton-le-Sands won the main pairs final while Over Kellet B won the plate final.
The council's leisure services department is also calling on bowling enthusiasts to polish up their woods as they prepare for the start of the new season.
The season runs from Thursday, March 28 to Sunday, September 29 and season tickets can b purchased from Monday, March 15, priced at £36 for adults and £18 for juniors/senior citizens.
They are available at Morecambe Town Hall.
Greens included in this year's programme are Regent Park, Happy Mount Park, Douglas Park, Highfield Recreation Ground and Palatine Avenue.
