LEIGH East second team have landed a third successive league title.
By hammering Rochdale Mayfield 44-14, East's reserve side clinched the Division Four championship after previously winning Divisions Five and Six.
And what makes the story even better is that in the last three seasons they have only lost 10 games.
Saturday's game saw East at their best, scoring tries through Craig Anderson (3), Gareth Reynolds, Gary Hopkins, Martin Woods, Chris Penkywicz, Craig Holmes and Alex Partington. Austin Monk landed three goals and Anderson one.
