I AM writing to tell readers why St Andrew's School in Ramsbottom should not be closed.
We have brilliant facilities, such as computer suites, which children and parents worked hard raising money for. We did lots of fun things to raise money, like talent shows and raffles. It was good fun.
We have a lovely library which parents gave up their time at weekends and evenings to do. They gave up their time because we have great pride in our school.
If they close our school, many of our teachers may lose their jobs, which is not fair because all our staff work hard. They do really well teaching and running our sports teams. We have won many awards.
I have been there for six years and never dreamt anyone would think of closing our school.
JANE BIRKSON,
(Year Six).
