TEN homes were left without electricity yesterday for two hours due to an underground cable fault.
The homes around Scarborough Road in Highercroft, Blackburn, had no warning of the power cut.
United Utilities -- which is responsible for electricity supply in the area -- said the supply was cut for repair work.
Pensioner and resident James Marsden said: "I was really disappointed that I couldn't watch a programme at 10am.
"You would have thought that they could have warned us out of common courtesy."
The supply was cut off at 9.45am and resumed at midnight
A similar fault to an underground cable occurred at Rimmington Close affecting three homes at 8.39am.
