POLICE have made an appeal for information a month and a half after an armed robbery at a pub in Mosley Common, Leigh.
At around 5.30pm on Wednesday, February 4, the robber walked into the Yew Tree, in Bridgewater Road, and punched a member of staff and threatened him with a screwdriver. He also escaped with a small amount of money.
He is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s, five feet nine inches tall with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue padded jacket, black trousers and white trainers.
The robber was also wearing a distinctive gold ring on the little finger of his right hand.
