KENNELS staff are caring for a dehydrated, timid dog which was found entangled in its own chain after being dumped outside the premises of Baxenden Chemicals in Accrington last weekend.
The dog, a German Shepherd cross thought to be about four years old, was thin, lethargic and distressed when found by a member of the public. Jack, as he has been named by staff, was taken to Aspin Valley Kennels in West End, Oswaldtwistle, on Sunday. He is now on the mend and urgently needs a caring home.
Anyone who can offer Jack lots of TLC should contact the kennels as soon as possible on 01254 233702 between 11am-4pm daily.
The German shepherd/border collie pup featured last week been re-homed.
