ON-LOAN striker David Johnson hopes to have scored his third goal in three games this afternoon at Sheffield United - and maybe keep top scorer Gareth Taylor out of the side.
Taylor was available again after suspension but looked unlikely to get a start because Ian Moore and 25-year-old Johnson have built up a good partnership.
Johnson scored both against Preston and Bradford.
"Gareth is the top scorer, but I don't think anyone has the right to be in the team," said Johnson.
"But it's great to have competition and the fans will be happy to have him back.
"We've got a big squad and we need to get some of them back and keep this run going."
The arrival of Paul Gascoigne has done more than increase competition for places, though, said Johnson.
"It's a dream come true really. It might be his last club in England, but I can still say 'I've played with Paul Gascoigne'.
"I admire all players who have played for England at the highest level and he's no different."
