LOWER DARWEN: Michael Dean Baldwin, 34, of Dover Street, was remanded on bail by Blackburn magistrates for the preparation of pre-sentence reports when he pleaded guilty to possession of crack cocaine and heroin.
Michael Blacklidge, defending, told the court that Baldwin was making strenuous efforts to beat his drug addiction. He had been through a Christian rehabilitation programme in Birmingham and was disappointed with himself for slipping into old habits.
Mr Blacklidge said Baldwin was hoping to be re-admitted to the programme.
