A COUPLE who met while starring on stage as husband and wife have tied the knot in real life.
When Debbie and Tym Huckin played leading roles in Ibsen's A Doll's House with a Hull amateur theatre company their relationship blossomed.
After a three and a half year courtship the couple married in the Lakes at The Wordsworth Hotel, Grasmere, with Debbie's three children from her previous marriage as witnesses.
Debbie, nee Seddon, grew up at Chapel Street Post Office in Leigh and went to Bedford St Thomas' Primary School, Leigh Girls' Grammar School and Leigh Sixth Form College.
She gained a drama degree and now teaches the subject to special needs children near the family's new home in picturesque Slaidburn.
Tym, a freelance IT consultant, originates from Hull.
The couple are pictured with their two-years-old son Jack, Debbie's 13-years-old son and best man, Oliver and her 11 year-old twin daughters, Charlotte and Olivia, who were bridesmaids.
