IT'S comforting to know there are still honest people about.
Shopping is not the easiest chore at the best of times. It can be time-consuming and frustrating -- paying for trolleys, unloading numerous bags, then returning the wire baskets to retrieve deposited cash.
Leaving a shopping bag attached to the back of a trolley is easily done, and that's what happened to one reader who wrote to me this week.
When the oversight was discovered, no doubt the heart sank, and thoughts were that was the end of that. Surprise, surprise on returning to reception it was discovered some kind sole had handed it in.
I've been asked to thank the mystery shopper at Leigh Asda and I'm delighted to do so. I only wish I could do it more often.
