EWOOD chief executive John Williams today insisted none of Graeme Souness's first team squad will be leaving on loan before this Thursday's transfer deadline.
With Rovers currently battling for their Premiership lives, Souness needs cover in every area for the final eight games of the season.
So Crewe's attempts to lure Craig Hignett to Gresty Road on loan until the end of the season seem certain to end in failure.
"We won't be letting any of our players leave on loan between now and the end of the season because it's all hands to the pump from here on in," said Williams.
