PUPILS from Ivy Bank High School hearing support unit had a week of fun and learning as part of a series of workshops designed to build skills.
The week-long programme of events was geared towards 17 students who are all partially or fully deaf.
It was held at the Mechanics in Burnley with puppet shows and drumming workshops.
Development officer at Ivy Bank High School Michael Watson said the event was the first of its kind.
He said: "About 17 students who travel from all over East Lancashire suffering from hearing problems have been involved in the workshops.
"They have been a real success and enjoyed by everybody who took part."
The workshops were co-ordinated alongside Mid Pennine Arts and the Forest of Burnley.
