GREAT Harwood manager Denis Underwood's hopes of picking up the first of the six wins he feels his side needs for survival in the NWC League's first division were cruelly dashed.
Once on front Glossop, also struggling to retain their top flight status, ran away with the contest and Underwood, whose side travel to Mossley tomorrow night, was far from happy.
"That was probably our worst performance of the season.
"I was was looking for a reaction from my players and I didn't really get any reaction at all.
"We had a few players missing, but we still set off quite well, but once they had scored we were very poor. All we can do is to try and produce a much better display at Mossley."
