THE body of a 32-year-old man from Bury has been found at Ashworth Valley.
The man was discovered lying face down in a stream at 10am on Sunday (March 24), with a mountain bike beside him.
It is believed he had fallen 150ft down a cliff and died from multiple injuries.
The man's identity has not been released as police have yet to inform his parents.
They are believed to be away on holiday. Firefighters were called to the scene to recover the man's body.
Four years ago, the ravine claimed the life of a Heywood Scout who was camping at the nearby Ashworth Valley Scout Camp.
He plunged to his death from the same rock-face while out walking with friends.
The coroner has been informed of the latest death.
