A DISPLAY of Royal connections with Burnley will be on display when the Weavers' Triangle visitors centre opens for the summer season.
The centre in Manchester Road will re-open on Saturday with an exhibition recording royal visits to the town and the celebration of coronations and jubilees.
The event is to mark the Queen's golden jubilee in June.
In addition to the display a special event is being planned at the centre to celebrate the jubilee on Monday, June 3.
The centre will be open from 2-4pm from Saturday to Tuesday until the end of September and then on Sundays in October.
There is no charge for admission but donations are welcome.
Saturday also sees an open day at the engine house at Oak Mount Mill from 2-4pm.
It will be the first of several openings during the summer: Sunday, May 5, Saturday, June 1, Saturday, July 6, Saturday, August 3 and Saturday, September 14.
