A CHARITY needs unwanted clothes or bric-a-brac for a fundraising shop in Darwen.
Cancer Research UK opens a shop in the town annually for one week -- this year's opens on April 14.
Linda Chatburn, press officer for the charity, is calling for anybody who has any unwanted clothing or other bits around the house to donate them.
Mrs Chatburn said: "Instead of throwing away any unwanted clothing people should give us a call and we will pick it up.
"People do not realise how much money we generate from this each year, so we really do need people to take an interest and donate what they can."
Anybody wanting to make a donation should call 01254 763289 or 703731. Arrangements will be made for somebody to come and collect the items.
