A TEENAGER was due to appear in court today charged with the murder of Anthony Rigby.
Mark Peter Harrington, of St James Road, Blackburn, was expected to appear at Preston Crown Court for a preliminary hearing.
Harrington was originally charged with the attempted murder of Anthony Rigby, who was found barely conscious at his flat in Swift Close, Blackburn, after being shot in the head in January.
Police changed the charge when 18-year-old Mr Rigby died in the Royal Preston Hospital on January 10. Harrington is also charged with possession of a .38 Olympic handgun.
