RECORD numbers of Bury Grammar pupils are dreaming of the spires of Oxford and the colleges of Cambridge.
A total of 13 students, eight girls and five boys, have been offered conditional places at prestigious Oxbridge colleges, dependent upon their exam results this summer.
It is the highest number of offers received by pupils at both the girls' and boys' schools.
Head of sixth form, Mrs Judith Skinner, said: "We are delighted at the pupils' success in obtaining in obtaining these offers.
"We wish them all the best for the future."
