SOUNESS has hailed Rovers' trip to Dubai as a raging success as he and his squad returned to training at the club's Brockhall training base yesterday.
"It was an excellent trip to Dubai, everyone has benefited and enjoyed it," said Souness. "We used the facilities of one of the top clubs over there. It was first class.
"We trained every evening and conditions were perfect.
"The training break gave us a real boost last time, let's hope it will have the same effect this time around.
"The whole exercise is very good for camaraderie, if nothing else, and the team spirit going into the final stages of the campaign could not be better."
Rovers reserves are in action against Bolton at Morecambe's Christie Park tonight (kick-off 7pm).
