SUPPORT and advice for the long-term unemployed is now being offered in Pendle.
Pendle Intermediary Project are offering advice and information on looking for work, starting a business and redundancy.
Advice sessions are by appointment and are held at the New Road Community Centre in Earby, the Carr Road Resource Centre in Nelson and the Waterbridge Resource Centre in Colne.
The group work in partnership with a number of other training and employment agencies.
A spokesman for the group said: "We are basically trying to work in an informal, friendly manner to to find out what skills people have.
"We also work with local businesses to see if we can match their needs up."
