A HEARTBROKEN Rishton woman is appealing for anyone who spots her flyaway African grey parrot to get in touch.
The parrot, Pebbles, took off from her open cage yesterday lunchtime . She had been put in the garden so she could soak up the sun and get some fresh air.
Owner June Moore, of Cliffe Street, said: "I didn't even know she could fly yet. Something must have scared her."
Mrs Moore added that she could be anywhere in East Lancashire by now. "I'm really upset," she said.
"She had a large cage full of toys, and called everybody in the family by name."
Anyone who sees Pebbles, described as a bit bigger than a pigeon and dark grey, can contact Mrs Moore on 01254 642680.
