IT was reported on TV on March 13 that Skelmersdale has been given permission to provide accommodation for 700 asylum seekers.
France doesn't want them but we seem to be welcoming them and they haven't paid anything into the system. But some of our old folk have been through two world wars and are still suffering.
We should be looking after our own elderly not other countries' cast-offs.
