THE Pendle Forest Association of National Trust members is holding the last in a series of lectures at St Peter's Church, Burnley, on Tuesday, April 9.
Frank Watson will speak on The changing face of Accrington.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm. Admission is £1 but free to PFA members.
PFA publicity officer Rod Wilshaw said: "Most of the towns in East Lancashire displayed their civic pride with the wealth generated during the industrial growth in the later part of the 19th century and none more so than Accrington.
"It boasts a range of fine buildings including the town hall, market hall, Carnegie Library, Georgian Church, Howarth Art Gallery and many more.
"Most people remain unaware of just what a rich heritage of the Victorian era is contained in such a small town."
