Former Lancaster City striker Peter Thomson is back in the area - with deadly rivals Morecambe!
Thomson, 24, had a meteoric career with the Dolly Blues and attracted interest from dozens of football league clubs before a surprise move to Dutch top flight outfit NAC Breda for £50,000.
He joined Morecambe on Friday after a spell at Luton Town and time on loan at Rushden and Diamonds.
Thomson, who was out of favour under Jo Kinnear at Kenilworth Road, has been on the transfer list, will provide cover for the injured Robbie Talbot, who is unlikely to feature again this season.
Thomson, who made his debut as a substitute in Saturday's game at Hereford, said: "I already know some of the Morecambe players so that should make it easier to settle in.
"It's an exciting time to be joining with the FA Trophy semi-finals up, and I would dearly like to help Morecambe to the final."
His new manager, Jim Harvey, added: "We are a bit short of cover with Robbie Talbot injured, so this is a great chance for both the club and Peter to have a look at each other, he has a good scoring record, and hopefully he will carry it on with us."
Meanwhile, ticket arrangements have been announced for the two legs of the FA Trophy semi-final.
Both clubs are to charge normal league prices and 'pay on the day' admission will be available at both legs.
A crowd of 3,500 to 4,000 is anticipated for the Shrimps' home clash.
Match tickets are available in advance for the first leg at Christie Park on April 6.
Season ticket holders in the main stand will be able to pre-purchase their own seat until mid-day on Saturday, after which stand tickets will go on sale tickets for standing areas are already on sale.
The game will be segregated and Stevenage fans will occupy the Umbro stand and part of the main stand.
For the away leg, Morecambe have been allocated the 'club' end, a covered, seated stand for 1,400 spectators.
Admission is £10 for adults, £8 concessions.
Any enquiries should go to the club shop on 01524 411797.
Meanwhile, Morecambe's former assistant boss Dave Miller is to be the new manager of conference rivals Stalybridge.
The popular Miller left Christie Park in 2000 and has, most recently, been second in command at Leigh RMI.
