A COURT has jailed six men and four women from Morecambe who admitted being involved in the supply of drugs.
The 10 were given sentences totalling almost 40 years at Preston Crown Court last week after a police investigation known as ' Operation Lincoln.'
George Carroll, 48, of Marlborough Road, Morecambe received four and a half years for nine counts of supplying heroin to undercover officers while on bail for drugs offences.
Kevin Brook, 39, of Westminster Road, admitted four charges of supplying heroin, and one of being concerned in the supply and another of offering to supply.
He has been jailed for four and a half years.
Also jailed for four and a half years was James Brown, 43, for seven charges of supplying, one of offering to supply and two of being concerned in the supply.
Michael Hogan, 30, of Morecambe Street, admitted four charges of supplying and was jailed for three years and nine months.
Robin Ferguson, 44, of Euston Road, admitted being concerned in the supply of the drug and breaching a previous conditional discharge.
He was jailed for three years and seven months.
Michelle Williams, 39, of Euston Road, admitted five counts of supplying and one of possession with intent to supply and received three years, nine months.
Julie Forbister, 30, also of Euston Road, admitted four counts of supplying and received three years, nine months.
Michelle Raby, 31, also of Euston Road, admitted eight supply charges and four of possession with intent to supply.
She received three years, nine months.
Deborah Woodhouse, 33, of no fixed address, received three years and nine months for six charges of supplying and two of possessions.
Defence counsel argued that the defendants were low-level dealers selling to feed their own habits.
